    Good Lord. I realize I’m on dial-up still (what a Luddite!) but it took five minutes for my last comment to take. Longer than usual, even when I connect at a shitty low speed. (My ISP is pretty unreliable.)

    Yup, slower’n the Senate confimation of a conservative judicial nominee. I’m working on it.

    All I can guess now is that Blacklist and either the Regex, Macros, or PerlScript plugins aren’t cooperating nicely. I’m testing Blacklist with absolutely no spam list, so the plugin shouldn’t be doing anything but tacking a link onto the comment notification emails.

    What you just said sounded like Chinese to me, but I’ll take your word for it. My second attempt to make a comment hung at 10 minutes and I disconnected.
